Recap of Muscular Dystrophy Canada's Toronto Walk and Roll

Highlights from yesterday's Muscular Dystrophy Canada Walk and Roll in Toronto included having my whole 10-person Yay Team out to support even on a rainy day, accomplishing my goal of doing a 5 km walk, and getting the crowd to "yay" together at the start πŸ₯Ή yay! Check out my highlight reel in my Instagram post here.

SO happy to have reached and exceeded my fundraising goals yesterday morning - my personal page hit $1,500, and the Yay Team page hit $1,863! I'm so thankful to the 33 people who donated - I truly appreciate your support! πŸ₯³

Meeting so many people from the neuromuscular community and the incredible MDC staff was a joy - thank you so much to MDC's National Ambassador Danielle Campo McLeod for bringing me on as the Toronto Walk Champion. You've been such a beautiful example of life and success with a neuromuscular disorder, and I feel so lucky to have been part of this with you πŸ’–

Also so thankful to have the support of Dan and Changemaker PR - it was so exciting to hear that this year had the most media coverage of any Toronto Walk and Roll, thanks to him 🫢🏽

Today I'm recovering from walking 8 km total across yesterday, but what a day it was - definitely a daily yay for the books! πŸŽ‰βœ¨
